Robert is a proud Arizona native with strong roots in the East Valley and a passion for helping others thrive. A triple Sun Devil, he earned his Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from Arizona State University, along with a Master of Public Administration. He went on to earn his doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. These days, he shares his knowledge as an adjunct professor at ASU’s School of Social Work.

With over two decades of experience working with young people in public education, Robert brings warmth, empathy, and expertise to every interaction. He’s especially passionate about supporting children, teens, and young adults as they navigate everything from academic stress and social challenges to post-high school transitions and mental health struggles like anxiety and depression.

Robert’s approach is grounded in the belief that everyone has the inner strength to grow and make meaningful changes. He emphasizes the importance of a strong, trusting relationship between therapist and client, creating a safe and supportive space where healing and growth can truly take root. Drawing from a variety of client-centered and strengths-based methods, he meets clients where they are and helps guide them toward where they want to be.
